On Aug 23 Ricki Zunk sought info. about a "mental institution in Central
Islip,
NY, within the time frame 1920-1938. He asked for a private response but I
think that other members of the group might benefit >from such information. I
too am interested in the "Central Islip Psychiatric Center". Does anyone
know if
60 to 70 year old records might be available for genealogical purposes?

Army. As far as I know, my GGF was not the only oldest son, who was drafted.
I believe, there were other reports on JG about this.
