The couple emigrated to the USA in the 1930s with their two children Piroska (later Pearl SALOMON) and Tibor (Theodore). As you can imagine, researching a name like GOLDSTEIN can be very difficult. Someone named Zborovsky in 1914 Russia #general David Goldman #229885 Jewishgenners, I was just reading a letter of 100 years ago written by my great-great-grandfather to his daughter and family in Canada in which he mentions that he is happy that they are interested in the fate of someone named Zborovsky. I have no idea whether this man was simply a family acquaintance or was some major Jewish or Russian figure in 1914 (just before the outbreak of World War I). I did Google a bit to see if there were any clues online, but so far I haven't run into any.
