the easier one is ma'te'szalka, which is in szatmar megye.

szentma'rton, usually written as one word, is more difficult, because
there are so many of them! there are 5 in the jewishgen communities
database, and bogardi.com's 1913 gazetteer shows about 45 of them.
looking for ones that are in or near present-day romania (16 of
them), there is one in szatmar megye, called kakszentmarton. and
searching for "szentmarton" on the transindex web site yields 23
hits, 15 of them in romania, and it also gives present-day names.
the mormons' libarary has microfilmed records for 3 places, but only
the one in Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun megye, szentmartonkata, has jewish
b/m/d records. (film #642870)

According to "Mishpachot Atikot Beyisrael" R' Heshel was married
first to Rywka, than to Dina, none of them daughter of Tosfot Yom
Tov. However, in the book "Aseifat Hakohen" both in the Haskamot
and the introduction, the author claims that Heshel was Tosfot
Yom Tov's son-in-law. So where do we go >from here?

According to "MiMoshe Ad Moshe" by Rav Shlomo Tzvi Schick, p. 6b,
Rivka's husband was Rav Tzvi Hirsch of Krakau, who is mentioned in
Tosfes Yom Tov, Keilim, chapter 22, Mishna 4. (There he is just called
"my son in law, MHR"R Hirsch"). In an unnumbered footnote there he gives
his source as Luchos Zikaron by "Greenberg" (should be Friedberg), which
states on p. 12 that his son was the author of Asifas Kohen. (Luchos
Zikaron does not mention the name of Rav Tzvi Hirsch's wife, just that
he was son in law of Tosfes Yom Tov).
