Israelerka- Argentinian search

Hello
On the marriage certificate of my husbands grandparents from
Argentina 1924, it says that Esther ARCUSIN was born in Israelerka.
Is this a name of a place, or a reference to something else?

Legid is nothing I ever heard of, could it be 'ledig' misspelled
