Though I have not usually been successful at finding obituaries of my poor immigrant ancestors, I did find one for an uncle who died in 1916. He was killed in an accident, so there was litigation

I agree with Phil Karlin's (above) assessment of Ancestry. Its interface is too opaque to be really useful in genetic genealogy. It needs a chromosome browser and to make available (and downloadable)
