Would it be that "Szczyrzar" is ex Szczerzec in ex Lwow Province?
There are actually were two Szczerzec in Eastern Galicia.
One Szzcerzec was identified as a town proper, known as

It could be an abbreviation of Eliezer, or Eliahu, although it is not a
custom in Russian.
On the other hand it could br a misspelling of those names.
