I agree so strongly. Diversification is a MUST!
I have also sent my trees to cousins, printed out and mailed, and I maintain a list of interested parties for each branch. Updated trees

I am also using FamilyTreeMkaker and regularly make an Outline Descendant report on paper. But there is a possibility to add or create new fields on the report. With the facts windows. I have not

The records that have been uploaded to jewishgen, certainly to JRI-PL, have usually been rudimetarily translated by poeple working for the archives. They are not in depth and names are sometimes not

One matseva in the cemetery in Jodłowa, Poland (southeast of Tarnów) bears in small Hebrew letters the inscribed name and town of the stonecutter, H. Hojfmeister, Tarnow. He is listed in the Tarnów

I have a number of family members buried in a cemetery in Hungary and several of them had the stone cutter's name at the bottom of the stone. These were from the early to mid 1800s.

Here in Melbourne, Australia it is common practice for the stone mason to leave a small plaque with his contact details in a discreet place on the tombstone. Usually in the lower corner of the plinth
