Most of the people who are being dismissive of the large genealogical companies go on to say that they haven't subscribed for years. All these companies have had to up their game for that very reason.

I totally disagree that these sites are garbage. Many of the trees may be garbage but that is not why I subscribe. The number of records to be found on these sites is far beyond what I could hope to
