"Adelphi, Kings, New York" was Joseph Haller's place of residence, not his place of death. Unfortunately, many NYS death records now indexed on Ancestry don't include city / town of death.

Maybe Adelphi has something to do with Adelphi University which is in Nassau County. Kings has to do with Brooklyn so maybe there was some sort of branch of the University in Brooklyn that the
