Seek Walter HAHN born Berlin circa 1890-1905 #germany

I am searching for Walter HAHN. He was born in Berlin, the son of Julius
HAHN and Elise ITZIG HAHN. He may have survived the Holocaust. I have
searched in the usual places - Yad Vashem, Jewishgen and Ancestry.com, etc.,
but it is hard to make a positive identification because I do not have a
birth date for him. His mother was born in 1869 in Berlin, his father in
Segnitz in 1856. Please contact me privately at elamj@...

I am searching for Ernst Julius BENDA of Berlin. He was probably born
between 1894 and 1904, the son of Georg BENDA and Lucie WEISS BENDA of
Berlin. There is an Ernst BENDA on Yad Vashem who perished at the Lodz
ghetto, who was born in 1902, but I don't know for sure if this is the same
person. Please contact me privately at

Hi,

Been away >from the family tree work for a while but I just now found a
new connection
to explore:

Hersz Chaim Kohn married Leah Ruchel Gotliber in Ciechanow in 1889.
They had a daughter Sura Kohn, who married Yochanan Rozensztejn >from Janowa,
and a son Yehezkel Kohn.

My great-great-grandmother Chaia Sura (nee Rozensztejn) Zylberman was
born in Janowa
around 1845 and is probably related to Yochanan.

If any of these names are familiar, please contact me privately at

Re: NYC 1927 Rabbi with connections to Chicago FISHER-MELTZER family #rabbinic

I don't know the specific answer to your question but as a former
student in the Chicago yeshiva, and aware of the Meltzer Rabbinic
family (what I just read did not include chicago or NY) I would be
happy if you would share your replies with me and or the forum.

Is Solovy connected to Soloveitchik, as you may know the famous Rabbi
Isser Zalman Meltzer studied under Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik in Europe
and was one of the Rabbis who taught in his Yeshiva.

His age was probably somewhere between 50 and 80. I know this is
