The BAUM Family of Kansas City and Nordheim vor der Rhon #germany

Emily Garber

I am pleased to announce the private publication of the three-volume
set: "The Baum Family of Kansas City." The set includes a genealogy
that may be of interest to those studying German Jewish family history
in the United States. I conducted the research in the United States
and Dr. Ekkehard Huebschmann in Bavaria. Our mutual client published
the set.

The third volume, "Genealogy Report," contains graphic family trees
and a register report on almost 400 descendants (8 generations) of
Hirsch BAUM of Nordheim vor der Rhon, Lower Franconia, Bavaria.

To read more about the volumes, repositories that will hold the set,
surnames chronicled and places included, please see my blog post at:

Reichsvereinigung der Juden: Letter R #general

Lande

I have added an additional 1,980 names of German Jews whose family names
begin with the letter R to the Reichsvereinigung database, available at
Steve Morse's website under Holocaust records. This brings the total of
names to 23,072.

As is the case for the all these postings, in addition to family names, the
database may be searched by maiden name, place of birth or death, point of
emigration, e.g. Cuba, and factors such as suicide. The cards themselves
may be viewed on the International Tracing Service website, but in many
cases I have added information taken >from other sources.

Please feel free to contact me if questions arise regarding individual
names/information
