Dear Siggers,

I am an old member of Galicia SIG but a newcomer to Austria-Czech SIG.
I am trying to find out details about Leopold KRAUS, who received
a "Legion of Honor" >from Emperor Franz Jozef in 1849.

His daughter Camille married Salomon ARZT in Port Said Egypt,
who originated >from Jaroslaw, Galicia.
Camille died at child birth at the end of 1890s/beginning of 1900s in Port Said.
I have no idea whether Leopold lived in Austria itself or in Galicia.
Many siblings of Salomon ARZT lived in Port Said, where his brother Simon
established the famous Simon Arzt department store.

President effective July 18, 2019. He has been a member of Gesher

participant in other grassroots groups interested in genealogy and the
history of Galicia. He is also a member of the Jewish Genealogy
