Can anyone give me any info on the name Chil?

I thought I had misread records with info on a relative >from Poland who had

" Goldblum (Chil) " is how it appeared on that list.

Re: Imigration Forms #general

Peter Zavon <pzavon@...>

No special form is required. Simply wrote to the organization, which is now
called something like Customs and Citizenship, and ask for a copy of the
relevant naturalization file. Identify the person as best you can by name,
date and port of arrival, vessel, etc., and provide something that indicates
that the person is no longer living.

MORGAN Family #general

Hello, I am trying to find out any information about MORGAN family >from Wales.

I know that we have a famous pirate in our genealogy. Henry MORGAN is his
name, and he settled in Jamaica. Although he had no children, I'm sure other
members of his family did.

I will not be able to get hold of partial genealogy until distant cousin
recovers >from bad case of shingles. However, I felt that this pirate was pretty
significant and may ring a bell with someone.

FYI: Earlier this year I was having great trouble obtaining the necessary
permission to view my grandfather's UK naturalization files, as they are
only 70 years old. However, I was told by a very helpful lady at Kew that I
should stop trying to obtain permission, as these files would become
available in January 2005. Could this be as a result of the new FoI

Let's hope this means Good News for us!!!
