Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Is there a way to find out who lived at an address in Warsaw 1907?

I have a theory that my Great Grandmother who stated her family name as
DONOFSKY may have had her name misunderstood when she went to England around
1907.

Her husband who (abandoned her) after arrival changed is name to Daniels and
re-married they came >from Poland and the one address we know family lived at
or ran a business >from was at 82 GRZYBOWSKA GAS, which we believe is in
Warsaw.

Any help would be appreciated

Dear All,

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Is there a way to find out who lived at an address in Warsaw 1907?

I have a theory that my Great Grandmother who stated her family name as

BIALYGen has defined its geographic scope as those towns and
villages currently in Poland that were part of Grodno Gubernia
during the period >from 1815 up to World War I. In addition, a
few border towns now in Poland with strong connections to
Bialystok will be included.

Although Lapy was previously in Grodno Gubernia, Sokoly was part
of Lomza Gubernia. As Sokoly is an important border town, it will
be included in the BIALYGen scope along with other important
border towns like Tykocin and Ciechanowiec.

So why has Sokoly not been listed in the BIALYGen Infofile at
http://www2.jewishgen.org/InfoFiles/BialystokRRG.htm? BIALYGen
does not yet have a website. JewishGen was nice enough to create
an InfoFile for BIALYGen, but at this time, we do not have the
ability to make frequent changes.

If anyone with HTML and web design skills is willing to dedicate
significant time to help BIALYGen create a website, please
contact me privately.

26th, 1937 aged 67 [as recorded on ALD cemetary data]. My great

In his message of 24 March 2004 Gabor Hirsch advised the telephone numbers of the synagogue in Papa.
I had forwarded that message to a friend who recently visited Hungary, including to Papa.

My friend has now advised me
"the synagogue in Papa has been donated to the city for safekeeping and is in total disrepair. It was one of the saddest moments
of my trip to see it. I cannot think what the cemetery is like."
