JewishGenMall 10% Discount Sale Extended
#southafrica
Sandra and Donald Hirschhorn <donsandyh@...>
Since so many of you are still in "vacation mode" or preparing for the
holidays you might not have taken advantage of the 10% discount on everything we offer in the JewishGenMall. We have extended the cut off date to midnight in Houston on Sept. 20th...after the Jewish holidays. We invite each and every JewishGenner to take advantage of the extra time to browse the Mall seeking that special book or video you've been thinking about purchasing. Visit http://www.jewishgenmall.org by clicking on "Search" at the bottom of the page and then typing in any category that interests you such as Genealogy, Holocaust, Lithuania, New York, etc., etc. If you are not familiar with an online shopping environment, click on the FAQ first and read up on how best to use the program. On behalf of all of us who work behind the scenes here at JewishGen, a Happy and Healthy New Year to all of you. Sandy and Don Hirschhorn JewishGenMall

Rose Feldman <rosef@...>
Lets us remember that we have to take into considerations copyrights of
books before we undertake projects like building databases based on them. These are "new" books, that last one having been published within the last year. I don't have the books in front of me, so I can't say if they are copyrighted or not. from other projects I have participated in on JewishGen, I know that theyrequest permission >from the author/publisher to publish pieces of works on the site. So I suggest being careful and checking with the author or/and publisher. rosef@post.tau.ac.il EPSTEIN/BOYARSKY Amstiveva, Mstibov or Mstibovo or Mscibow (Belarus); Ruzhany or maybe Rozhno; Petach Tikvah, Chicago, Argentine GITNER/LULKIN/REZNIK Litin (Lityn) Ukraine,Kalinovka Ukraine, Israel, Chicago ILEWICKI/ILIWITSKY/ELEVITSKY Kusava Grodno Belarus TREPMAN/SOJCHER/SLOVIK Warsaw, Israel FELDMAN/LICHT Warsaw, Israel Litin www.shtetlinks.jewishgen.org/Littin Kalinovka www.shtetlinks.jewishgen.org/Kalinovka Mscibow www.shtetlinks.jewishgen.org/Mscibow Ruzhany www.shtetlinks.jewishgen.org/Ruzhany The Israel Genealogical Society

Yoni,
The NY Times archives can be searched back to 1996 at http://query.nytimes.com/search/advanced The search is free. The first line or so of the article (or obit) will show on the screen (at no charge). If you want to read the entire article on line there is a small fee. The exact prices are clearly posted at the web site. good luck in your search, Sherri Bobish
