Michelin LERNER nee HOCHMANN (b. 1878-1898) Poland (?) --> USA.
#general
Laurence Harris <laurence_harris@...>
I am searching for the family/descendants of Michelin LERNER nee
HOCHMANN (born 1878-1898). Michelin HOCHMANN was probably born in Poland (probably Warsaw or Czestochowa). Michelin had two(?) sisters: Sarah (who married Pinchas "David" SILVERBERG/ZYLBERBERG); Feigela (who married Jacob GRABARSI/KABALSKI). Both these families settled in England. The father of these three girls was Woolham Zeph HOCHMANN (aka Nachum Ze'ev) who it is assumed lived in Poland. Michelin HOCHMANN married an Unknown LERNER and they live in the USA for most of their lives. Does anyone recognise this family? Thanks Laurence Harris Pinner, Middlesex, England.

NARA naturalization record missing

Mimi Katz <geveret@...>
I understand that NARA's records are localized. NARA in Chicago has told
me that they can't locate the naturalization record I'm interested in because the "volume containing that record" is missing. Is there another location, Washington perhaps, that houses records for the entire country? Please do not reply to sender. Email address has been altered to avoid spam. Death records, City directories - Elmira, NY 1890-1899
#general
Lthorpe883@...
Hi All-
Where do I find a death record in Elmira, Chemung County, NY? The year range 1890 - 1899 is established on the basis of passenger lists and other info. If City Directories exist for that time period, they would be very useful. If available, are they on microfilm or fiche? Any suggestions will be most appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
