KAIN family (Galati, Romania)
#general
Dan & Lee <danlee@...>
I am searching for my mothers "biological" birth family (last name Kain or
Kane). She was born in Galati, Romania in 1934 - and was the youngest of about 9 or 10 siblings. She was adopted soon after birth. She was known as Mutzi Cohn in Galati. Later, she moved to Israel - where she became "Lichtenberg" (later Lior). I need help finding her family. Does anyone know if there would be a record of her birth/adoption somewhere? She has nothing - no papers and no one to help her (her mother recently died and she has no other family). Thanks Lee Lior

Lev (Leon) Davidovich BRONSTEIN used the nom de guerre TROTSKY, rather at
random since that was the name of a guard in a prison he was in. The name stuck. For more info on his parents >from an unbiased source, see "Three Who Made a Revolution" by Bertram Wolfe, also the recent Kolganov bio (released old Soviet files)- forgot name, check bibliofind.com under Kolganov.
