Translation of Hebrew please #general

Dear fellow researchers,

I have a copy of the Marriage Authorisation for my wife's great
grandparents Harris Smithalsky to Augusta Fox, which i obtained >from the
Chief Rabbi's Office. Tye marriage took place at the east London
Synagogue on 6 June 1893.

I am unable to translate some of the answers on the form because they are
written in Hebrew, and I am wondering if someone can help. Of course I
cannot post hebrew letters to the list, but I have spelled out the words
reading >from right to left.

In answer to the question 'Brothers (if any)' there is written
tet-vav-bet-yud-hay
In answer to the question' Will attend Wedding' there is written lamed-alef yud-ayin-hay-chet

I hope someone can decipher these two cryptic clues; perhaps they will
lead me off on a (wild) goose chase.

Good luck in all your endeavours.

My candidate would be Nowogrod, which is not all that near to Warsaw, but
we know nothing of your great aunt's concepts of proximity.

...

although when

said that

be found:

1.A small township Trojany - (a proper double name: Piotrowo-Trojany), is
located in Bialystok Province, between towns Bransk and Siematycze, south
of Bransk, near main road # 19, Miedzyrzec Podlaski -Bielsk Podlaski -
Bialystok.

Woj. is an abbreviation of wojewodztwo - voyevodship or province.

2. Trojany, 5 mi NE >from Radzymin near Warsaw on Highway #18,
Warsaw-Bialystok

3. Trojany near Ozorkow. on Leczyca - Lodz highway #E 75 (Lodz province)

4. Purzyce-Trojany near Mlawa, Ostroleka Province.

Note: All abovementioned shtetls are located within the previous Russian
Poland territory - a logical choice of your family Trojan shtetl would be
No.2, since this shtetl is located in Bialystok region, since people used to
marry into close by other Jewish communities. But this not always the case,
as I have discovered during my search, that my wife family ancestors have
moved in 19th century >from Wilna to Lodz, which proves the mobility of our

Hope this help.
