I believe it literally refers to an "old Jew", but it is the primary word
used for "Jew" in the records I've seen (primarily those from
northeastern Poland), whether old or young. So starozakonny Wolf is
simply Wolf the Jew.

I am trying to find a cousin named Sara (Talman) Kuperwasser.
All the usual search techniques have failed.

She wrote a letter to our family in 1962. At that time, her
address was:

8 Cremeaux Street, Tel Aviv

If you happen to know Tel Aviv, can you tell me anything about
this address? Is it a hotel? A house? An apartment building
that has been there for a long time? I am trying to find out
something about this location.

Here are family details:

Sara (Talman) Kuperwasser
born around 1890
in 1962: lived at No. 8 Cremeaux Street, Tel Aviv, Israel
husband, name unknown, deceased as of 1962
four children:

Juda Kuperwasser
Jakow Kuperwasser, married, had at least one child, a son
