New Cousins discovered!
#general
David Goldman <davic@...>
Thanks to my second cousin in London, we have discovered another branch of
my paternal great-grandfather's family. Both of that cousin's great-grandfathers were my great-grandfather's brothers. It turns out that she discovered that the one who we had recently discovered was indeed a brother of the other two had had two wives (at different times), and children by both wives. The family tree is expanding with significant branches and leaves in Manchester England, with the discovery of descendants of that second wife and my great-great-uncle...... Jews In Canada - books
#general
David Goldman <davic@...>
The Jewish Historical Society in Calgary Alberta put out a terrific photo
history book of the Jews who settled in Calgary and area. They called it Land of Promise. I hope there are still copies available for anyone interested. I got one over a year ago. I have heard that the JHS in Edmonton Alberta is doing one too. David Goldman davic@erols.com

Gerald TULCHINSKY

zerakodesh@...
Hello
In the book Jews in Toronto Gerald TULCHINSKY appears as the author or researcher. I am wondering if his family was >from Tulchin. This is a city my mother was born in. Is it possible to hear >from him. Many people are researching Tulchin in Vinnitza province and indeed many people did go to Canada, some because they couldn't get into the United States and others to join families already in Canada. It would be very nice to communicate with Gerald Tulchinsky. Sholom Esther Feinstein Sackheim ZeraKodesh@aol.com
