I have found on Internet the following document which provide US senate
resolutions in 1951 http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/STATUTE-65/pdf/STATUTE-65-PgB70-2.pdf In this document there is the resolution 90 about "granting of permanent residence to certain aliens". Following the title there is a list of names and in in the last page (5th name) there is my supposed mother's cousin. What is interesting is the way it is written : "Warshavchik ela or ela Warszawczyk" Was it possible at that time to provide two spelling of the name when you ask for this procedure ? Regards Michel Ajzenberg Paris France PS: it has nothing to do with genealogy, but the first paragraph of this document is amazing (we are in 1951)
