Sorry for barging in but I've long been searching unsuccessfully for information about a Sara Swerling (25 Jun 1879 - 27 Mar 1968) taught English in Riga, married a Jacob Gelfand in Belarus and died in Philadelphia. So your mention of Swerling caught my eye. Please contact me.
