I wish to draw your attention to the below link to Austria picture archive
- in german only. I found there and got delivered picture of my ggg-father
Josef HELLMANN as colonel in 1887.

Their delivery service is prompt and it is possible to pay with credit card.

I was fascinated by this archive and it's contents. I have already
identified several pictures I would like to order. But the German is sadly
beyond me; the only English part I could find is the price list in pdf
format, which isn't very helpful.

I wonder if a Lister whose German skills are better than mine could give the
List a brief run-down of the process for finding, and for ordering, images?
Can one see the images online before ordering? I discovered a picture of a
relative, Robert WORTMANN, a banker and financier in Vienna, which I'd love
to have as I know little about him, but couldn't work out how, or if, it
could be viewed.

Happy New Year

I too was very pleased to followup on Jan's tip with good results.. I found
the "Search" page at http://www.bildarchivaustria.at/default.aspx and did a
search on ZWIEBACK. The search window is at the upper left corner. The
results, 62 images (of 1920s womens fashions >from the ZWIEBACK Fashion
Salon), were displayed in 7 groups. I was able to copy images and save them
to my hard drive.
