Availability of LDS Microfilms for Israel #belarus

There are many researchers working in Israel who would like to have access
to the microfilms in the Mormon Church archives. Is there any way that
they can get access to these?

In answer to the question about LDS centers in Israel-

Because of the volitile religious situation there, Israeli leaders are very
reluctant to allow other religious groups into their country. (Although my
ancestors are Jewish, my family is LDS). There is one study abroad center
there, but I don't believe they have a Family History Center there)

One person responded to my question a few days ago with the suggestion that
ther BYU campus in Israel might have a Family History Center. I checked
with the local LDS Family History Center and was told that, although there
is a BYU campus in Jerusalem, they do not have a Family History Center
there. It still might be worthwhile for someone in Israel to check with
the BYU campus to see if there might be a way of getting access to the
microfilms.
