Shetl #belarus

My ancesters are >from Susnowiec, Poland. But I have not found or is there
mention of this town. Please help.

I just located a shetl by the name of CHAUSSKII in Mogilev.
This is listed in 1911. Does it still exist and if so what is the
name of it today. I have not been able to find it on the shetl list.

Chaussy is not a small village - it is a region center in Mogilev

Today this is a rather small village called Chavusy (in Belarussian)
and situated just to the southeast of Mahiljou (Mogilev). In 1911 it
was called Chausy (no Chausskii) and was a relatively large village.
In those days it was the districtcenter in the Chausy district (uyezd)
in the Mogilev guberniya.
