Central Archives of the History of the Jewish People #germany

The Central Archives of the History of the Jewish People has been
mentioned several times recently as an excellent resource. Does this
institution respond to research requests by e-mail or snail mail? Are
there local geneology researchers one can hire?

Thanks in advance for any response to these questions.

The Central Archives does not have the staff to do private research.
If you have not been contacted by a private researcher, let me know
privately, and I can give you some addresses. Martha

MODERATOR QUESTION: Martha - Will individuals have access to the CAJP during
the July Conference? If yes, does the Conference program include any kind of
guide to doing research there?
