What is a "Pretiosenhaendler"? #germany

I've found a source listing the occupation of one of my ancestors as

"Pretiosenhaendler."

I haven't been able to find this word in any German dictionary. Does anyone know
what it means? Thanks very much -

I have found the term in the following newspaper article:

rhein-zeitung.de/on/02/12/18/topnews/juwelier-chro.html?a

"Pretiosenhaendler" would seem to mean something like precious stone trader.

MODERATOR NOTE: I'd guess that the newspaper article cited here was located using
an Internet search engine. I'd be curious to know which one you used.
