Mommsen Gymnasium #germany

Judith Diamond

My father studied at the Mommsen Gymnasium in Charlottenburg, Berlin
until 1917.
Can anyone give me more information about it, its precise address,
and whether the building survives?

According to German Wikipedia, it still exists.

According to teleauskunft.de, it doesn't.

http://www.luise-berlin.de/Lexikon/Chawi/e/Erich_Hoepner_Oberschule.htm
claims that the Hoepner-Oberschule is a successor to it, and gives an
address, albeit not in Charlottenburg.

If you search under google.de, you will get a few hits, including a
reference to a publication of the Berlin Mommsen-Gymnasium, but also a
few other genuine references, if you ignore the ones >from other German
towns like Leipzig or Flensburg where other Mommsen-Gymnasiums exist:
