Oberlauringen is in Lower Franconia, so the place to look is the
Bavarian State Archive at Wuerzburg. Indeed, they have printouts of the
Oberlauringen Jewish vital records for 1812-1876.

Incidentally, the 1817 rolls indicate that Gumpel Maier ROSENTHAL (b.
c1777) had been established in Oberlauringen since 1802.

Aron ROSENTHAL was born in Oberlauringen 15/7/1840 - his parents were
Abraham and Betty (Elisabeth?)KATZ

Aron married in 1866 in Zell n. Wuerzburg - Karoline (Gutel) SACHS.
They had 5 children.
Aron died Nov 1908 in Wuerzburg - Troeltschstr 9 a.o.

Seeking information on Aron's siblings - he must have had some, but who?
- is this ROSENTHAL family part of yours?

Does anyone know where/if I can obtain birth records for Oberlauringen
for c. 1815 - 1860s? Thank you.
