Amit,

Have you looked at the Hungary Funeral Notices 1840-1990 on FamilySearch at
https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Hungary_Funeral_Notices_-_FamilySearch_Historical_Records ?

I was wondering: is there a simple way online to locate Hungarian
newspaper clips and especially obituaries and death notices? As many
of you know, these are a very helpful tool for understanding family
ties. However, I never managed to search for those systematically -
only by chance on Google.

I've had a lot of success with the Hungarian site Arcanum Digitheca, https:
//adtplus.arcanum.hu/en/. You can search for free, and the results usually=
give you enough information to tell if it's what you want. To see the actu=
al newspaper and book pages, you need a subscription, but they have very sh=
ort-term subscriptions if you are interested in something specific.=
