the name "Isaak Shabse" #general
Saul Goldstone <sgoldsto@...>
I have come across the name "Isaak Shabse" in a handwritten note pertaining
to one of my ancestors living in Lithuania in the mid-1800's. Since this
person's surname was "Berzak" I assume that "Shabse" is a middle name.
Isaak, of course is common, but I have never seen the name "Shabse". Can
someone enlighten me?
