Thank you for all the replys I have received re my question about the origin of the name Wolf. I have had so many in such a short space of time I have more than enough to work on for the forseeable future. So thanks again I think I have my answer.
Hi, I am an English Christian Church of England, married to a German Catholic. Her family are very reticent to talk about the past and especially the war. Her mothers maiden name was Wolf with an umlaut. She has recently been told this is a German Jewish name could anybody confirm this. If I have offended anybody with this question it is not intentional just curiosity. Thank you.
