In searching Ellis Island database
I've found more than not missing pieces of information.

Is there a website to search other possible ports of
entry into NY besides Ellis Island?
If so, has anyone else encountered this same
challenge?

Immigrants could land in Canada and enter New York State at the border in
the northeastern corner of the state or by crossing the Niagara River into
Niagara Falls, NY or Buffalo, NY, at the northwestern end of the state.

The passenger lists at Ellis Island database are for the port of New York.
There is no other port of New York, but people did go to Baltimore,
Philadelphia, Boston, and elsewhere. None of these have web sites, but
indexes to passenger lists and passenger lists themselves are at the Mormon
Libraries.
