I checked the Ellis Island site for my father's arrival records and found
no match.
Here's the information I do have >from his Declaration of Intention for
Citizenship (#41077) filed in the city of New York on June 25, 1915 as
follows:
Abraham CHERNOS
born in Kiev, Russia on April 20, 1893
emigrated >from Rotterdam on the vessel Rotterdam
arrived in the port of New York on or about April 15, 1913

I would appreciate it if anybody could help me locate the Rotterdam ship's
manifests for the year 1915.
Thank you,
Leonard Chernos
Fallbrook, CA.

Abram Czernos, Ethnicity Russia, Residence Wiencze, Russia, Date of arrival
14 April 1913, age 21, Male, Single, Ship Rotterdam, Port of departure
Rotterdam. He is on line 30 of his page which is frames 0445, and 0446.
He was in Group 33. His ethnicity on the original manifest is Hebrew.

On the original manifest it says his father lived in Wiencze, Kiev.
I can't read his father's name, but I bet you will be able to when you
see the manifest. He was going to live with his uncle, who's name looks
like Gregor Notrica (but if you aren't Sephardic it can't be Notrica so it
is probably something like Notorovich). The uncle live at 146 Luber (sic)
Avenue, New York. He was carrying $50.00 He could read and write Russian.
