Where is "Siedmiogrod"? #general
Cory Streisinger <corys@...>
I've recently received a family tree written in Polish which includes some
branches of my WECHSLER family. I'm trying to identify Arnold WECHSLER
(born about 1820) and his daughter Fanny WECHSLER (born 1865), both of whom
were >from "Siedmiogrod" according to this tree. (There is an accent over
the second "o".) Is "Siedmiogrod" a specific city or town? My Google
search identifies it as a region of Transylvania, but I'd like to get more
precise if possible.
Thanks for your help.
