I need some help >from a kind New York researcher. I am trying to use
the 1905 New York state census. New York County does not seem to
appear on the list of county names. Is that correct or am I doing
something wrong?

The New York state census for New York County for 1905 is available through LDS. See
http://tinylink.com/?Wpl2rRdjLe. There is a card index arranged by street name and
