OSS Personnel files open to the public #general

Jenny Schwartzberg

Dear All,
This article describes the OSS Personnel files >from World War II, listing 24,000
people who worked for the OSS:
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jUNOHxDTQoehoT3FAda6jBvSN4uQD92IAGMO1 I've
looked at the National Archives' website and they do not seem to be searchable by
name. I'm wondering if any of you have used these files or know if there is a name
index to them? If not it might be a good project for the DC people.

Curious,

Yes the names have been indexed. This link takes you to the NARA search engine:

If someone worked for the OSS it should pull up their name and provide file
information for ordering purposes.
