My county library provides free access to digitized archived
newspapers, such as the New York Times, that record information about
incoming, arrived, and outgoing ships. In the NYT, search for
"Shipping and Foreign Mails" to see the list of ships.

Hi,

I know I can use the Ellis Island database for researching ship manifests for
people that came to America. How can I research or view ship manifests for those
that left America? Relatives may have gone back to their homeland (Kozin, Russia
area) around 1905-1920. I would appreciate any advice.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
