Seeking Ehrlich cousin #general
Scott Ehrlich <scott@...>
Greetings:
Jacob Daniel Ehrlich, my first cousin once removed, died 20 May 2003 in Boynton Beach, Florida. He had a jewellery store in Boston before retiring to Florida. His father was David Ehrlich, also a Boston jeweller. I am seeking any living relatives of Jacob, particularly his children. Thank you. Scott - scott@... |

Dear Cousins,
Scott Ehrlich asked for help in finding descendants of a relative who died in Boynton Beach, Florida, in 2003. When the year of death is known, death certificates >from Florida Department of Health are only $5. Their process is fairly easy and quick, and generally the only restriction is that the cause of death is available only to certain individuals. Important for Scott, there is a box for the "informant's" name, and that's likely to be a close relative or somebody who knows the information he wants. The instruction page is at http://www.floridahealth.gov/%5C/certificates-and-registries/certificates/death/index.html, and contains a link to the application form. If that doesn't work, the name of the cemetery will be mentioned on the certificate, and that's another potential source of information about relatives who placed the grave marker or paid for grave care. Finally, a newspaper in the Boynton Beach area may have published a death announcement listing survivors. Even small libraries can determine which newspapers are available for the area and get microfilms through interlibrary loan. Regards, Ira Ira Leviton New York, N.Y. |
