During the early years 1940-1942 what was the most likely sea route
taken by ships >from Lisbon to the Americas??

Did they go to the South Atlantic to avoid German U-boats?

The boat I was on in 1941 >from Lisbon to New York, "the ciudad de
Sevilla", went to the Azores for refueling. We were in a blackout
status at night.
