Information on Sontai ship arriving in Haifa port from Poland in 1948 #general
charles goldenzon
I obtained the passengers list of a ship that brought my great uncle >from Poland
to Israel, having arrived on the Haifa port on 19th December 1948. The list indicates the ship's name as SONTAI, or perhaps SONATI. Does anyone have information to share on this ship and what the correct name is? Regards, Charles Goldenzon Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

is the easiest way to find information about ships. If you search for ships' names beginning with "son", you will find the Sontay, which might have been the right one. ....... tom klein, toronto
