Stawiski Landowner Magnate #poland
I think Jan meant back in the 1800s and earlier. That's what the
Landsmen article dealt with, as I recall.
Unless this guy Roman's son is REALLY old . . .

The owner of Stawiski was Roman Kisielnicki. His son lives in Warsaw.

Form the responses I have received, there were two landowners: The first was
Count Fortunat Zamoyski- >from the "olden" times as Alex Sharon and Stan
Goodman both found on Google. Alex also translated into English the history
of Stawiski that was found on the Google search where it talks of Count
Ryzard Plutecki called the local Stawiski mayor and town priest and spoke to
them on my behalf, and has acted as go between for the priest and myself
translating English and Polish where necessary!. The more "recent" town
owner was named Kisielnicki. If anything comes of this contact regarding
any records that might be of interest I will let you know.
While I have thanked Alex, Stan and Ryzard privately, let me take the time
now to thank them publicly. The help one receives >from this forum is truly
phenomenal - all go the extra mile.
