I have just posted to JewishGen Viewmate two photos. Can anyone help me date these photos? I believe them to be a portrait of either Rafael Fridman & his wife or Chaim Joseph Fridman and his wife >from Suwalki province Lithuania in the 1800s. When the photos were taken will help me determine just which of these men & their wives this is as I know their birth & death dates. Can anyone date these by the clothing or furniture or carpet or by translating the words at the bottom? Your assistance is most appreciated.
