Josveniai and Keidan records #lithuania
Sara Crystal <scrapbasket@...>
dear friends, I am wondering if the LDS records of Josveniai and
Keidan are the same as those translated in the ALD, or are they additional, if not, then who might be available to translate since I speak no hebrew or russian? I am excited about these records since they may be my missing link for my great-great grandparents. I have been unable to find the name of a village for my grandmother imm 1891, Jennie RABINOWITZ/RABINOWITSCH CRYSTAL, with her mother SIMA/GUSSIE/SADIE/SIMNER AMNH/SARA? FREEMAN/FRUMAN/FRIEDMAN RABINOWITZ, to her husband imm 1887 Harris RABINOWITZ (Haresh/Hersh), >from somewhere in Lithuania. Sima died in childbirth in 1903, Newark, NJ. Sima's parents were Nota Friedman and Rachel. In JOSVENIAI, there is a NOTEL FRIDMAN, married to Rase, with daughter Sore and Chaya, 1874. All other Note Fridmans were too young so I hope this is them. Please contact me if this rings any bells or you can clarify.
