Richard Winer #lithuania

May I add my sadness in learning that Richard had passed away.
He was a dear man, always patient, though so often in pain.

He WILL be missed.

It is with great sadness that we have just learned that Richard Winer,
Coordinator of the LitvakSIG Ukmerge District Research Group, passed away
July 17th as a result of a fall and subsequent stroke.

Richard spent many happy years researching his family, helping Ukmerge
contributors, attending local genealogy meetings in Boston and the annual
IAJGS conferences and spending time with the many people he met through
his dedication to LitvakSIG.

We will all miss his ever cheerful disposition, his understanding and his
friendship. He was truly a gentle man.

Donations in his memory may be sent to the Jewish Historical Society of
the North Shore, 1 Community Road, Marblehead, MA 01945.
