Go to the website http://www.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/
If you scroll down there is place where you select that you want a list of
towns within a certain distance of a latitude/longitude. The lat/long of
Warsaw is 52 15/21 00. >from there you will get a list of towns.
I would also search for the FREEDMAN name on JRI-Poland but not just
Go to the website: http://www.jewishgen.org/jri-pl,
enter the surname
then scroll down and enter the Warsaw Coordinates. Specify a distance >from
the the Coordinates that you want it to search.
I specified 25 miles and found a whole bunch more. However, I doubt you

Dear Warsaw Group,
Being a new subscriber to the group, my G Grandfather MORRIS FREEDMAN B:1st
AUG 1874 and his father JACOB came >from WARSAW (as stated on the
natralisation records), but it does not give any indication to a town,
village or shtetl. Did people live in Warsaw the city or did they live in
an actual area? if so can someone supply me with a full list of
towns/villages/Shtetl's of WARSAW, or point me in the right direction as to
what resources are currently avaliable.
