The organizing team of the International Conference on Jewish Genealogy -
Paris 2012 - and its partners welcome you and are happy to send you this
third newsletter.

- Don't forget to *register now* to attend the 32nd International Conference
on Jewish Genealogy in order to benefit of the reduced fees. After reading
the FAQs explaining how to register, visit:

- CALL FOR PAPERS: Go to www.paris2012.eu and then to the "Contact" page.
Select " Propose a lecture, a workshop or a BOF" and send an email with your
proposal (http://www.paris2012.eu/contact_messages/new). You can speak
French or English.

- BOOK A ROOM at the Marriott Paris Rive-gauche: click on "Hotel", Enjoy
very attractive conference rates with the specific code zx4zx4a. This
discount is valid for the Congress as well as 5 days before and 5 days after
if you want to extend your stay in Paris.

- THE SIGS AND BOFS IN PARIS 2012: The Paris 2012 program will include usual
SIG's and BOF's meetings / meals. The application form has been sent
to the responsible of each group for them to ascertain their specific
requests or their guest speakers. They must be sent back by February 1st. If
you did not receive this form write to contact@..., we will send it
to you.

- THE SPEAKERS: The speakers invited by us or by the SIGs and BOFs are
entirely exempt >from fees. They can register >from now on by going to
http://www.paris2012.eu/products and clicking on "subscription
(distinguished guests)".
If you answered to the call for papers, and if your submission is accepted,
you are exempt >from 50% of the fees. You must not register till you have not
received an answer (after February 1rst).

- THE PROGRAM: A provisional list of speakers who have accepted our
invitation is already online on our website
(http://www.paris2012.eu/events). ***This program is "under construction" and
all your further submissions are welcome.*** The times and dates indicated on
the website may be changed.
You will meet with experts >from Eastern Europe: Archivists >from all these
countries will help you. Mrs Diana PELTS, Chef Archivist of Ukrainian State
archives in Lviv will be sponsored by the Lucille Gudis memorial found. The
session concerning the 50th anniversary of the coming to France of Jews >from
Algeria at Paris 2012 has been enriched. Don't miss either the Round Table
"The share of genetics versus cultural" and our important session about
Holocaust and genealogy, with Patrice Bensimon representing the association
of Father Desbois .

- Our program of TOURS IN PARIS is now online
http://www.paris2012.eu/events. Our two graduated guides, Danielle Malka and
Mathieu Beaufils have tried to offer you a daily program combining tourism,
artistic and Jewish interests, including a full day walk on July 19th.

We are working on post conference tours, Gala, festive program: we will
inform you about all these offers as soon as possible. Come regularly to
