Possible Book Sources #yizkorbooks
Susannah R. Juni <sjuni@...>
I have not tried searching for Yizkor books at the sources listed below,

but if anyone has any luck, please let me know. If either of them works, I'll add a link to the Yizkor Book Project's Retail List. The following info was sent to me by Amazon.com in response to a query I'd sent them. It could be a great source. Has anyone tried EBay.com for Yizkor books yet? (Don't laugh.) I know people who have found other rare foreign language books there. If anyone has a moment to try these sources, please let us know if thye work. Thanks. Susannah Juni
I would recommend searching for this title on Bibliofind

There were 3 listed on ebay in the completed items and 1 in active
items, spelled Yiskor. ebay is a good place to keep an eye on!

When seeking a Yizkor book for my mother's village of Bielsk Podlaski I sent
e-mail requests to the retail establishments listed on the Jewish Gen site. Sal Kluger (salkluger@...) responded that he would do a search and in a few months I heard >from him that he had located a copy which I now have in my possession.

This was sent in on another list with a summation of which ones were currently available with the latest bid on each. But I don't think that JewishGen allows this kind of message because of its commercial content (I'd be happy to be corrected in this statement). There are a couple of sites that search all the auction sites by subject, and that might be a good strategy to use in locating currently available yizkor books. EBay is fighting them in court but we could probably use that strategy until the case is resolved. Bob Weiss in Northridge, CA RWeissJGS@...
