Login to JewishGen

I just noticed that the login to the discussion group requires my e-mail address and a password.
Does this apply to the JewishGen site, where I logged in with my researcher number and a password? Thanks for clearing up the confusion, as I am still getting used to this new format. -- Sheldon Dan sheldan1955@...

Dear Sheldon,Thank you for your message. As we continue to modernize our platform, we are trying to ensure that everything meets contemporary security standards. We, therefore, needed to have a separate login for this platform. In the future, we plan hope to have one single sign-in page. For additional information, we have prepared a helpful Member Guide here: https://groups.jewishgen.org/g/main/wiki/The-New-JewishGen.org-Discussion-Group-Member-GuideWishing you the best of luck with your research, and thank you for being part of the JewishGen Family. |

I am beginning to become acclimated to the new format - grudgingly. However, if I have to log-in every time I wish to see the message for which an answer is being given (either the new login or the old one) I will go crazy. With all this modernizing of the platform, which I can understand, why is it so difficult to include the message (or a portion of it) with the response?
