The Jewish Genealogical Society of Buffalo is presenting, “The Power of the Catalog-Unidexed Records and How to Find Them” on Sunday, October 27, 2019. It will be held from 1:30PM to 3:30PM at the Audubon Branch Library, at 350 John James Audubon Parkway, Williamsville, NY, 14228.

A video will be shown from this summer’s International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies Conference that was held in Cleveland, Ohio. Over 75% of the records available on the Family Search website cannot be found with a simple search. We will show you how to find these records. Knowledge of and is helpful, but not necessary. There will also be a discussion and Q & A on searching these two databases for Jewish records.


The talk is FREE and open to the public. We welcome newcomers to advanced genealogists. Members of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Buffalo will be present to assist with questions, getting started and finding information and records.
